"Rock and rule"

Films: Black Roses (1988)

Alias: Various

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: For the billionth time, rock and roll doesn't turn your kids into devil-worshipping delinquents. These losers aren't the rule, they're the exception.

History: The Black Roses are a traveling rock band that have recently come to the eventless town of Mill Basin. The kids are enamored by their music, while the adults are left feeling unsure. But then the kids start acting ten times more obnoxious and even homicidal. It appears that the Black Roses are actually disguised minions of Satan seeking to turn the youth into demonic worshipers themselves. Now, the adults need to put a stop to all of it.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The Black Roses are confronted by the uncorrupted adults, who soon set their live concert on fire. The band just keeps playing as their plan goes up in literal ash.

Powers/Abilities: Their music can turn kids into demonic monsters over time. They also shapeshift.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-The Black Roses may have a vice grip on anyone willing to give metal a chance, but they look a bit cheesy in their true forms, and there's not a whole lot scary about rock so much as there is awesome.

Trivia: -The Black Roses were played mostly by members of the metal band, King Kobra, which was founded by an old accomplice of Ozzy Osbourne.

-Despite many rock bands being condemned as Satanists, many of them are nothing of the sort. Even the ones that evoke some demonic motifs are far from it, such as the otherwise intense Alice Cooper being a born-again Christian.

This is what happens when the devil abandons his fiddle.
"You humans come up with the best music! A shame we have to ensalve you all!"
It's not the band that falls apart. It's the drummer's public relations.
